Foreign language skills and intercultural competence are essential preconditions for youth mobility and for the development of international activities.

Language courses are targeted to members of youth organisations aged 18 to 30. The aim of the language courses is to increase the number of the activities in the field of the international youth work through gained language and communication experience. The language courses are more than just common language courses: they include both language learning and intercultural learning. Language courses are not targeted to beginners. Participants coming from organisations that are members of national youth councils or international youth organisations should send their applications to the respective national youth council or respective international youth organisation. Participants coming from organisations that are not members of national youth councils or international youth organisations should send their applications to the respective National Agency of the YOUTH Programme in their country.

Costs

The organisers will cover the costs related to accommodation, food, and programme. However, the participants, respectively their support organisations, will have to cover their travel costs and contribute a fee of 100 Euro to the language course.
