ABOUT THE TRAINING
     COCLEA: Collective Climate Leadership is a 7-day face-to-face training course offered by Avnø Oasis Ecovillage for youth workers and young leaders from Denmark, Germany, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, Ukraine, France, Finland, Greece, Italy, Sweden, Moldova, and Hungary. The training will give participants tools to develop Collective Leadership skills, learning how to facilitate transformative group dynamics and promote the creation of regenerative social experiences for young people in the field of climate activism.
     The training belongs to a wider project in which we will create a community of youth workers active in Collective Leadership and support the organization of an Ecovillage Youth Work Fair in collaboration with GEN Europe, the European Ecovillage Network!

FACILITATORS
     SIMONE CESARO - a project coordinator, group facilitator and transition activist. He has participated in more than 10 Erasmus+ mobilities and co-facilitated more than 5. He is trained with the IIFACE certified group facilitation programme. and as a facilitator for the Transition Network movement. He is part of the Yes to Sustainability network of European organizations and youth workers.
     KRISTIANE RAVN FROST has facilitated courses on food & lifestyle, personal & spiritual development since 1982 according to the Macrobiotic philosophy. She’s a founding member and vision keeper of Avnø Oasis ecovillage and Avnø Højskole - an adult education center aiming to support the ongoing paradigm shift on many levels towards a sustainable, fair, and life-affirming world. In 2001 she developed a new generation of dynamic, systematic and in-depth leadership, coaching and self-reflection tools - AIMA. She is a member of the board of the Danish ecovillage network LØS.

VENUE
     The training will take place in Avnø Oasis ecovillage, 2 hours away from Copenhagen, Denmark. We are an international community with a great vision and solid skills in organisation, teaching, entrepreneurship, permaculture, ecovillage design, health, personal development, sociocracy etc. We develop in 3 directions: a cohousing community, a school for adults (højskole), and green businesses. Avnø Oasis is located in the nature reserve and is neighbor to the sea and forest.
Participants will be accommodated in double rooms.

TRAVEL AND COSTS
     Arrival day is Saturday the 7th of December after 14:00. Departure day is Sunday the 15th of December after breakfast.
You need to be able to attend to the full duration of the training in order to participate.
     This project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the EU, which means that the travel and participation costs are covered. Participants should buy their tickets in advance and will be reimbursed after the activity. The tickets will be reimbursed up to a maximum amount which depends on the country where the travel starts.
     To be eligible as a participant, your country of departure and arrival have to be the same as the country where you live.

     Participant selection will be based upon the information that you share with us in the questionnaire and consultation with the project partner organisations — so please describe your motivation for participation in detail.

The purpose of Vitalitetsfonden foundation is to work for the common good (non-profit) by promoting a sustainable, fair and vital world in relation to physical and mental health, nature, economy, and culture on a personal, organisational and societal level. Vitalitetsfonden is supporting the emerging ecovillage Avnø Oasis, which is developing 3 parts: Avnø Højskole (“Peoples’ college”), a co-housing community and regenerative entrepreneurship. The target group of Avnø Oasis is youth and adults who want to make changes in their lives and contribute to establishing a new compassionate paradigm in the world.

Participation fee

No participation fee is expected

Accommodation and food

ACCOMMODATION
Participants will be accommodated in double rooms with private bathrooms, same gender in one room. The rooms are located 5 minutes from the classroom and the dining hall. No additional fees.

FOOD
3 meals per day + sometimes a dessert\snack in the afternoon. The food is organic, healthy, tasty and mostly vegetarian, prepared according to macrobiotic principles. Sometimes fish and eggs are used. If needed, for extra food the participants can use a nearby shop. No additional fees.

Travel reimbursement

The travel costs will be reimbursed no later than 1 month after the training course.

GREEN TRAVEL
To reduce the project’s environmental footprint, the participants from Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Serbia, France, Ukraine, Finland, Italy, Moldova, Hungary, Greece will be asked to avoid flying for travelling to and from the training. Green transport is: bike, bus, train, car-pooling (2 or more participants in 1 car). Please make sure that you are comfortable with this condition if you apply. For special needs and exceptions please write to the organizers.

Denmark: 56 EUR (400 DKK)
Germany, Sweden: 285 EUR
Spain: 309 EUR (planes allowed)
Portugal: 395 EUR (planes allowed)
Serbia, France, Ukraine, Finland, Moldova, Hungary: 417 EUR (309 EUR if not green travel)
Greece, Italy: 535 EUR (395 EUR if not green travel)
