Take opportunity within EVS
A Contact Making Seminar focusing on European Voluntary Service aiming to increase the quality of the applications by creating international partnerships and networking among interested organizations.
The seminar is mainly (but not exclusively) addressed to the newcomers and small organizations interested to learn more and get involved in EVS projects involving young people with fewer opportunities. The participants will be representatives of such organizations able to share the knowledge, experiences and good practices, and finally to came up with the ideas of projects and find new partners for the projects.
A special focus will be addressed to organizations (NGOs or public institutions) working with disabled young people or with rural communities. However any organization interested to develop an EVS project in general and inclusion projects in particular, are more than welcomed.
Participants are expected to be involved in youth or social work, to be animators or trainers. Participants need to have knowledge about the Youth in Action Program, European Voluntary Service and project management.
Aims of the seminar
• to provide the participants the necessary information for understand the key concepts in order to write good applications and implement effectively EVS projects
• to provide a space for sharing knowledge and experiences between organizations involved in social inclusion related activities
• to offer a space for exchanging ideas and contacts in order to develop future partnerships among participants
