As an experienced European project consultant and trainer, I design inclusive and innovative learning experiences. Passionate about diversity, human rights, and digital tools like AI, I empower youth and professionals through interactive workshops and Erasmus+ programs. My approach combines creativity, intercultural dialogue, and a commitment to sustainable social change.
David Dabert has 3 references for past work as a trainer.
Project manager/ trainer
For over 10 years, I have worked as a consultant in European project engineering and as a trainer specialising in Erasmus+ (KA1 and KA2) and OFAJ programmes. My expertise lies at the intersection of non-formal education, social inclusion and innovation. Through my work, I design and implement educational projects that foster civic engagement, cultural diversity and personal development.
I have coordinated and contributed to numerous projects, including youth exchanges and mobility programmes for youth workers, focused on inclusion, leadership and diversity. These initiatives create collaborative learning environments in which young people and professionals strengthen key competencies such as project management, intercultural communication and active participation. Within Universal View, I have also been involved in projects addressing civic engagement, sustainability and the employability of marginalised youth.
I design and facilitate workshops in English, French and Spanish on topics including diversity and equity, human rights, postcolonialism and the social implications of emerging technologies. Using participatory methods such as role-playing, simulations, group work and facilitated debates, I promote experiential and collaborative learning adapted to the needs of participants, with a strong focus on critical thinking and empowerment.
As the founder of Niamato Consulting, I support associations, schools and international organisations in the development of European cooperation projects. My work includes project design, partnership building, funding strategies and proposal drafting. I also provide translation and linguistic support (English–French–Spanish) for calls for proposals and project documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility throughout the submission process.
A significant part of my work focuses on supporting marginalised and diverse groups. I regularly work with young migrants, refugees and cultural or religious minorities, creating inclusive learning spaces that value lived experiences and encourage active participation. I also train professionals such as educators and social workers on diversity management, intercultural approaches and social inclusion, with the aim of reducing barriers and fostering mutual understanding.
My current and future work priorities include:
Developing innovative training approaches integrating digital tools in a critical and ethical way
Designing international exchange projects that promote intercultural dialogue and inclusion
Leading Erasmus+ initiatives focused on non-formal education, sustainability and social innovation
Building transnational partnerships to strengthen project quality and long-term impact
Through non-formal education and international cooperation, I seek to contribute to more inclusive, resilient and socially responsible practices across European contexts.
I hold an advanced academic and professional background in literature, political science and international cooperation, which has shaped my analytical, intercultural and facilitation skills.
I am trained in humanitarian programme coordination (Bioforce, Lyon), where I acquired solid competencies in programme cycle management, budgeting, partnerships, accountability and coordination in complex and sensitive environments. This training reinforced my ability to link operational realities with institutional and ethical frameworks.
In parallel, I completed a professional diploma in translation (French–English), which strengthened my capacity to work in multilingual and intercultural contexts. This expertise allows me to facilitate international cooperation processes, ensure clarity in institutional communication, and support transnational dialogue within European programmes such as Erasmus+ and SALTO Youth.
Beyond formal education, I have extensive experience in non-formal education as a trainer and facilitator within Erasmus+ and SALTO Youth networks. I have designed and delivered learning activities on migration, inclusion, postcolonial memory, human rights and active citizenship, working with youth, professionals and civil society actors from diverse cultural and national backgrounds.
My professional trajectory is complemented by a strong interest in innovation and digital tools. I explore how emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, can ethically support learning processes, communication strategies and civic engagement, always with a human-centred and critical approach.
These combined experiences ; academic, professional and non-formal ; inform my work as a trainer and consultant, enabling me to bridge theory and practice and to design learning processes that are structured, inclusive and impactful.
