Group Building Activity
To stimulate teamwork, to stimulate the sense of responsibility towards each other
Part 1 : the pleanary room is turned into a "disaster area" , because the new projector, which has been tried for the first time, has exploded...
There are victims inside, who are in coma because of toxic gasses...
They have to be saved, by being carried out of the room!
The gas inside is bad for the eyes, so the person(s) (maximum two at the time)has to be blindfolded for the whole stay inside.
- Every person can stay in maximum 1 minute, otherwise he/she also goes in coma...
- person inside can not speak!!!
- after returning in the safe zone, speaking is forbidden for the next two minutes ( to dangerous - because of chemical reactions...)
- re-entering can only after 5 minutes...
If one person does not follow this rules, he/she falls in coma ... and has to be rescued also...
The group needs to make a strategy how to organise themselves for rescuing the victims. ( time management, communication forms, cooperation etc.)
After saving the victims or after 40 minutes there is a reviewing on the proces and the result.
Special attention can also be about the emotional fact of being responsible for each other!
