Exercise
- To reflect on one’s own learning process
- To assess the learning outcomes
This evaluation method is pretty emotional, but at the same time has a lot rational aspects as people are reflecting on their learning process, learning outcome and other issues of the training.
The task: every participant individually should find a symbol in nature symbolising her/his learning process and learning outcome during the course. It’s recommended to dedicate aprox. 20 minutes for this part.
When everybody are back to the place, that was agreed on, each person is presenting the symbol by telling personal reflection about the learning process and learning outcomes of the course. It might be that people will also be willing to express their feedback or appreciation because usually such method is at the end of the evaluation process.
Sometime people are tended to tell more about the symbol rather than the subject of evaluation.
Note! The focus of this exercise is learning process and symbol is just a source of inspiration.
