Exercise
To enable participants to explore formative influences in their lives, identify to what extent such influences were positive or negative, and share ways in which they have responded to those influences.
This is a group activity in which participants describe a moment in their past when they experienced a person or persons different to themsleves and identify how they responded, what or who influenced this response and the extent to which the influences were positive or negative. Participants then explore ways in which identified prejudices can be tackled by sharing the different ways they responded to the negative influences in their lives.
