Working on issues, here as an example “social inclusion”
The method of Socrates, the ancient Greek philosopher, was not telling people what he knew himself, but asking questions, so that people would come to the conclusions themselves.
In every group there are people with their individual special experiences, knowledge, and insights. We would like to use these resources and give an opportunity to learn from each other. This session is for you to work on basic philosophical questions. What do we do this for? Is diversity good, because it is trendy now? What is our value background?
• What is inclusion?
• What is diversity good for?
• How does it feel to be excluded?
• What is society? How it should be in your vision?
• How to make sure people are included?
Please decide on what subject you would like to work on and order yourself to the group (5 people). You have an hour to discuss the subject you have chosen. Collect your insights and prepare a short presentation (max. 5 minutes) for the whole group. The method to present your work is up to you – it can be a sketch, a poster, collage, etc.
