Exercise
The tool allows a fun interactive way to discuss the complex subjects of digital discrimination and digital inclusion, their causes, and effects.
- Discuss the topics of digital discrimination and digital inclusion;
- Foster creativity and freedom of expression;
- Practice different presentation methods;
- Practice various digital tools for conveying information.
1) Present the name of the workshop, why it is important, and how it is connected to the previous sessions of the project.
2) Separate people into small teams; ask one representative to come and take one puzzle and one method.
You can choose either a mix of digital and creative presentation methods or just have the creative ones, as the topic is pretty complex and it can be overwhelming for some participants; depending on the general idea of your project and whether you have digitalization as an important element.
3) Ask them to define the keyword of their handout and prepare a presentation depending on their method, about the keyword and the idea expressed in the handout.
Give them time (20-40 minutes) and freedom to choose the place of work (the preparation needs to be done so that the other teams cannot see and hear each other).
4) The participants come back and present their findings. The other teams try to guess what the keyword and the general idea were.
5) Debriefing. What we have learned? Was it challenging? Was it easy? Will I use any of these methods in my youthwork back home?
