Get to know examples of digital Open Badges, which can be used in youth work and education to recognise various achievements. 'Badges4Good' project partners compiled 12 badging practices to inspire you on your journey.
To explore examples of digital Open Badges and get inspiration for one's own unique badge based recognition system
Through being involved in developing open badge systems since 2013, we have collected a number of badge system examples which we hope will inspire you to use a ready-made badge system, copy and adapt the system or create a unique new badge system!
We invite you to be a badge investigator. It means not just passively reading examples of badge systems, but actively reflecting and questioning what you see:
-> What are the goals of a particular badge system?
-> What types of badges do you recognise?
-> What are various pathways of earning badges?
-> What visuals of badges tell to you?
-> What tips and hints did you find by reading these examples?
