In SALTO TC Inclusion Through Sports 2004 we did Organisation Fair in the same way. The group was devided in two parts. Each subgroup had 30 min for presentation of the organisations.
Be aware that participants are always complaining about the time and possibility to see presentations of all organisations. This way of presenting organisations is a compromise, therefore it is very important that posters stay in a visible place for the rest of the week.
In SALTO TC Inclusion Through Sports 2004 the group was devided in two subgroups. Each subgroup had 30 min for presentation. The structure of presentations was:
- Your name
- Name of the organisation
- Your role in the organisation
- Structure of the organisation (members, professional workers, volunteers?)
- Aims of the organisation (key words)
- Activities of the organisation (key words)
This exercise is used a lot and can be very well adapted. For the SALTO TC on Cultural Diversity 2004, the organisation fair was complemented by distribution of templates for participants writing and article for the DIVERSITY newspaper (see toolbox description) or for proposing topics to be discussed during the \"Issue cafes\" or other social informal events that take place in the evenings. In the TC Cultural Diversity participants were asked to think about the latest news related to cultural diversity in the country they are coming from, to way(s) of managing it etc. These templates can be filed and put on the tables from the social area, so that participants can flip through along the course.
