This Toolkit is a result of work and exchange of practices between educators, actors, youth workers and theatre practitioners who took part in the seminar Theatre as a Tool for Social Change, in La Seu d'Urgell (July 2016) funded by Erasmus + program.
Here you will find a selection of workshops that were presented by participants during “Laboratory experience” sessions, as well as detailed explanation of each step for successful performance of the workshop. It aims to be of use for educators and theatre practitioners it terms of sharing good practice.
This Toolkit is a collection of workshops and excersises that are used in daily work of organizations that took part in the seminar Theatre as a Tool for Social Change. Each workshop has its specific aim in terms of learning, social work, personal development, etc. However, the excersises share one common goal: social transformation, change through theatrical activities. They range from perfromance workshop to vocal excersises, process drama, Image theatre to prevention of bullying. This diversity is the richness of the brochure, which hopefully will be of use for anyone, who believes that theatre CAN make a change.
