Exercise, Group Building Activity
This expedition includes activities of kayaking and hiking combined with exploration and experiential learning process.The theme includes a discovery of a castle in the area where you reach by boats.
This Expedition aims to allow participants to experience physical activities such as rowing boats and hiking in nature. The Expedition also provides the chance for participants to use their creativity while composing their own music and use music as a universal language to connect to each other.
The Expedition combines physical discovery of a castle by information about history which boost up the interest in the participants about their environment.
Participants should download ActionBound app and select this Expedition. The app gives location information until the place the participants take the boats. Following, the participants take paddles and unlock the boats to start kayaking trip.
The app provides location for the island where the castle is located and participants row around 15 minutes to castle. When the participants arrive to island, they need to search for the castle. Group leaders provide information aut Lithuanian history on the castle surrounding.
At the next step, the app provides location information about In Tegra House. The participants arrive to island where In Tegra House is located, they lock the boats and find the In Tegra House. If the In Tegra House is open, they can visit art houses. The participants are asked to create their own music as a group by either using their instruments or only hands and whistles. The app provides the directions for the way back and the participants take their boats until the place to lock the boats and leave paddles.
The app provides location information for the way back to Daugirdiskes, and the participants complete the Expedition by walking.
On the short walking period, they reflect their thoughts about the Expedition.
