This simulation game has been designed and implemented as a results of the Youth in Action project “ToT on SimGame”, that took part in Republic of Moldova in July 2014.

Aims of the tool

The overall goal of the simulation is to provide participants with a greater understanding of the issue of human trafficking in the context
of a small town, about community-level interactions and to help participants to gain awareness and develop skills to solve human
trafficking issues effectively.

Description of the tool

This is a fictitious simulation game, set in the context of an Eastern European community trying to develop and reach an agreement on a
community level human trafficking prevention action plan.
The overall goal of the simulation is to provide participants with a greater understanding of the issue of human trafficking in the context
of a small town, about community-level interactions and to help participants to gain awareness and develop skills to solve human
trafficking issues effectively.
The game is designed to be useful in the education of youth and youth workers in Eastern European countries.
The game can be adapted according to the particular cultural background of the country where it will be implemented.

By the end of this simulation activity, participants will:
1. Demonstrate an increased understanding of global problem of human trafficking and particularly in their society;
2. Develop understanding of the dynamics of their local community, with particular attention to the existence of different social groups
and their interests;
3. Improve their communication and presentation skills;
4. Use negotiation skills and learn how to compromise, cooperate and find a consensus;
5. Communicate persuasively with regards to community actors in order to motivate community members, and facilitate community
actions.
