Real examples of how Non Formal Education is implemented in a training course or an activity.

Aims of the tool

If you want to have real examples of how Non Formal Education (NFE) is implemented in a training course or a group activity, what kind of skills are needed to carry out such activities, how the problems that may arise during these activities can be solved, what kind of skills a NFE trainer should develop, and how to develop participatory activities in order to achieve social change, then please continue reading.

Description of the tool

This guide is organized from a number of strategic threads built by experienced trainers – that touch upon and develop key-aspects of leading an activity based on NFE. Sometimes these threads are based on very practical issues (e.g. how to develop and modify a single exercise in order to match specific needs), while in other cases they deal with more general issues (e.g. what is feedback? and how it is useful in trainings?). All the threads incorporate with practical examples.
