Magical Mystery tour*
Partnership-building Activity

You’re invited to explore magical world of “Youth in Action” program and exiting mystery of youth exchange projects! Social workers and young people they are working with are welcome to take the tour!
This partnership building activity will guide you into establishment of international partnerships and development of inclusive youth exchange projects within “Youth in Action” program.
Objectives of the partnership building activity:
• To create an opportunity for a cooperative learning experience for social workers and young people they work with
• To establish international partnership between represented organisations
• To explore quality aspects of one program “Youth in Action” action- youth exchanges
• To provide space for development of inclusive youth exchange projects
• To develop a greater understanding of youth participation and social inclusion.
Target group:
• Social worker** in a tandem with one young person he/she is working with and that would like to be a part of possible future project.
• Participants should have support from their organisation or institution for possible future projects.
• Participants should have very little or no experience in the international youth work, but with intentions and commitment to develop international youth exchange projects.
• Previous experience in Youth in Action programme is not required but there should be interest in it.
• At least one of participants has to be able to communicate in English and support other participant if needed.
• There is no age limit for social worker. Age limit for young person is from 16 to 25 years old.
In order to apply tandem (social worker + young person) have to submit common application form. Just push “apply” button!
Please feel free to apply also if you have any kind of special needs (if you need assistant, sign language interpreter, have mobility restriction or other). Organiser will take care of these needs!

**Social worker is a professional who works with people and helps them manage their daily lives, understand and adapt to illness, disability or special condition and obtain social services, such as health care, government assistance, and legal aid. So target group of this activity might be for example young person (client) from residential care housing + professional working with that person

Costs
This project is financed by the Youth in Action Programme. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered by the NAs involved in this project - except a participation fee which varies from call to call and country to country. Please contact your NA to learn more about the financial details, and how to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
