Training Course

The proposed training course aims to provide participants with skills to organize informal and non-formal educational activities for international groups on the topics of human rights, intercultural dialogue, social inclusion, combating racism and other
The program will be built around experiences of participants of educational work with international and intercultural youth groups. Participants will share experiences and cases on the topics of the project – human rights, combating racism and xenophobia, social inclusion and promotion of volunteering, which will be used as foundation to discuss and further develop educational methods and tools on these topics. Program will include: creativity and innovation in youth work, technical skills as facilitation, introduction and debriefing, group dynamics in training, developing program of non-formal educational activity, tools and methods – using and adapting them in creative way, creating safe learning environment, international communication and specifics of working with international youth groups. Non-formal educational activity in a nutshell: before, during, after. The methodology of the training will be build on non-formal and informal methods, so that trainers will not lecture the participants, but the participants themselves will develop thematic content of the training. Special attention will be paid to practical aspect, participants will get opportunity to apply skills in practice by facilitating sessions and group work during the training, then later analyze and discuss during debriefing and get feedback from trainers and other participants.

Costs

All costs concerning meals and accommodation as well as the program and materials will be fully covered for the whole duration of the training. Travel costs will be reimbursed 70%. The participation fee for CIS and SEE participants is 30 Euros, for EU countries and Switzerland – 65 Euro.
