Recognising Recognition – Futile or Future?
Youthpass is developed to foster recognition of individual learning outcomes. Join this training and explore the possibilities working with Youthpass and non-formal learning
The aim of the training course is:
to raise awareness about recognition of non-formal learning
Objectives are:
· to get knowledge and awareness about the political challenges of Youthpass in European society,
· to compare the European developments in terms of recognition of non-formal learning with different cultural backgrounds and educational systems,
· to experience and discuss the educational value and potential of Youthpass in the Youth in Action programme and its different activities for individuals, NGO’s, stakeholders etc.,
· to understand and practise the challenge of facilitating a process of assessing competences and learning outcomes in Youth in Action activities,
· to experience methods of communication with young people about learning outcome,
· to experience the practical and technical side of recognition in the Youth in Action programme - Youthpass and
· to develop promotion strategies for Youthpass as a global strategy of recognition of non-formal learning in the Youth in action programme as an indicator of quality.

Costs
Please register online not later than 1 April 2007. If you are accepted, you will receive a confirmation and further information as soon as possible after 8 April 2008.
Please do not book any tickets before you receive confirmation of participation. Travel costs will be covered by your National Agencies. Whether there is a participation fee and how much it might be depends on the national regulations of your country; please contact your National Agency for information.
Costs for board and lodging during the training course in Bulgaria will be covered by the hosting Bulgarian and Swedish National Agencies.
