A TC on volunteer management for organisations working with youngsters facing social exclusion.
We have a few spaces still open... Aim: To increase voluntary participation of young people aged 15-30 in ongoing projects of youth organisations and organisations working with young people facing social exclusion. For the draft programm, the objectives, and more information about the venue, we refer to the participants guide (see below).

Wingerdbloei vzw is a non-governmental organisation, located in Antwerp, for minor girls (from 6 to 21 years old) who are under the supervision of a Belgian juvenile judge (forced assistance) or the committee for special youth care (voluntary assistance). The youngsters mostly come from 'multi-problem' families or situations (foreign origin, family violence, underprivileged, traumatic experiences, …). Some of them committed small criminal offences. The general aim is to work to a reintegration towards the (home)context or to an independent way of living, to become stronger, and knowing how to deal with the former problems. We work with the girls but also within the family context to obtain the maximum possible result.

Costs

The project is granted by the National Agency of Belgium. There will be a reimbursement of 70 percent of the travel costs. Lodging and food will be covered.
