About:

I am a Youth worker and Trainer currently living in Jyväskylä, Finland.

My interests range from classic youth work in youth centers to different kinds of ways to do youth work in digital platforms. Youth participation and guiding volunteers are also important to me. Non Formal Education and Non Formal Learning activities are the base of my work as a youth worker and as a trainer.
Quality in Erasmus+ projects are important to me.
Finnished my Training of Trainers (ToT) in July 2022.

Work experience

Active in the youthwork field since 2006 when started working for Helsinki Youth department. Worked for Helsinki until 2015, doing different tasks in municipality youth work, team leader for 5 years in two different teams, youthworker for network and media, running skatepark activities etc. Digital youthwork, youth participation, camps, trips and international youth work.
From 2015 working in Child protection facilities in Central Finland, Jyväskylä area. Support for individuals taken into custody of social services, teamwork in a multiprofessional cooperation.
2018-2020 working for YAD Youth Against Drugs as project worker, planning and running a self help service for young people suffering from drug abuse. Also responsible for NGO´s International activities. Currently working for Marttinen Youth Centre as coordinator of international and regional youth work.

Reimagining Recognition Capacity building in the field of youth gave me so far the expertize to open badges. A digital tool for recognition of non formal activities
Training of Trainers (Salto T&C) Offered me possibility to reflect about who am I as a trainer and gave me understanding about the ETS competence model and much much more.
