Aims & objectives

The main aim of the project was an Exchange of Good Practices with focus on youth work in rural areas / small communities.

The main project objectives were to:
- Increased capacity to work with youth and reinforce
cooperation with partners from other countries through exchange of good practice in youth work and learning from each others.
- Learned how to use outreach youth work to include marginalised youth.

Expected results were to: created 2 tangible outputs and personal and organisational capacities
increased.


Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

15 participants (youth workers and staff of partner organisations) form Poland, Greece, Croatia, Slovenia, Spain, Bulgaria.

Training methods used & main activities

Treasure hunt, study visits, discussions in the small groups, best practices exchange, design thinking method, role play, interview method, leisure time animations.

Outcomes of the activity

By investigating opportunities for young people, framework for youth work and experiencing good practice examples, especially in partners’ countries, the youth workers and partner organisations learned and accepted new methods and tools for youth work which they implemented in their communities during this project and as well after the end of project. This has given all partners and youth workers a broader perspective and new ideas how to attract more young people, especially those with fewer opportunities to active participation, volunteerism and self-development.

The outcomes of the activity were:
- Increased capacities of partner organisation for youth work;
- Increased competences and experience in provision of youth work and opportunities for marginalised young people, improved multi-cultural and inter-cultural competencies through international partnerships and participation on international events, of participants / youth workers;
- 2 motivational videos has been created;
- A workbook has been created;
- Transferred / used partners example of good practice;
- Implemented 18 youth work events.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I co-delivered the training activities. Also, I was in charge of organising study visits, and interviews for the movie.

I worked on this training for 5 days as a full time trainer.
