Aims & objectives

- To foster a reflection on different understandings of peace and conflict on personal, community and international level (holistic approach)

- To promote the use of conflict management tools in empowering young people
- To equip participants with competences in conflict management in youth projects, with particular reference to intercultural learning issues
- To encourage young people to be active European citizens and engage with issues that concern them in a non-violent manner
- To involve young people in the decision-making processes that affect them including issues of sustainable growth, unemployment, education and government spending in general
- To present the opportunities for conflict management and peace education within the Youth in Action Programme
- To promote enhanced co-operation between partner promoters in the field of European youth work

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Trainers: Jarek Wisniewski from UK, Andrijana Steriova from MKD, Vojislav Vujic

Participants of Training was youth workers and young leaders from RS, MKD, KS*, HR, UK, TR, SLO, ROM

Training methods used & main activities

Training methods used was: theoretical input, discussions, simulations, group work, etc.

Outcomes of the activity

All aims of the training were met. Participants gained knowledge and experience on the training topics.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Tehnical preparation of the project and preparation and leading few sessions in together with other trainers.

I worked on this training for 6 days as a full time trainer.
