Aims & objectives

The aim of this training course was to empower youth workers with the expertise and abilities essential for nurturing the emotional and mental well-being of young individuals in their communities. The training course was built around 4 key objectives:
- To equip the participants with different communication strategies
- To exchange good practices for creating supportive environments
- To learn more about inclusion strategies
- To practice self-care and setting boundaries

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The training was aimed for specifically youth workers, youth leaders, educators and teachers, bringing together participants from Finland, Poland, Czechia, Slovenia, Hungary, Italy, Spain, France and Germany, with even more various backrounds.

Training methods used & main activities

Storytelling, active listening practices, world cafe, group discussions and debates, practical excercise involving movement, role-play

Outcomes of the activity

-Participants equipped with effective educational strategies to address the emotional and mental health needs of young people
-Participants more adept at managing their own mental health while also effectively assisting young people in
fostering safe and supportive environments
- Final booklets of gathered selection for best practices and tools

Pre-planning the activities and specifying objectives, co-creation of the training course content; delivery of specific workshops; content report and material creation
