Visibility and DEOR: Extiende la Llama

Aims & objectives

The main aim was to learn what is Visibility and Dissemination and Exploitation of Results, learning by doing and thinking in how the disseminate results from last 5 editions of this training course.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Youth workers with some experience both in international and local projects, willing to improve their capacities in terms of Visibility, Management and Dissemination and Exploitation of Results strategies.
Participants from Croatia, Italy, Spain, Romania, Germany, Greece and Latvia.

Training methods used & main activities

Firstly we clarified some main concepts related to Visibility and Dissemination and Exploitation of Results (DEOR).
Secondly, we used several study cases in order to get a better understanding on Visibility and DEOR from experiences of good practices and tools that were useful to achieve these contents.
Thirdly, we had a practical experience where participants brought into action what they had learned about planning, preparation, implementation & analyses during the course, and so addressed their learning needs (learning by doing).

Outcomes of the activity

Most of the participants got a clear understanding of the concepts, so they can now apply different strategies tailored to their needs.
Half of the group planned dissemination actions in order to share their learning n their local organizations.

My main tasks referred to group dynamics, self-awareness, individual learning and didactics.

I worked on this training for 6 days as a full time trainer.
