Aims & objectives

eflect critically about personal and cultural identity
Gain a greater understanding of Cultural Diversity in different local and national realities, and better understand concepts which relate to the topic, such as stereotyping, prejudice, manipulation and limits of culture.
Learn from cross community youth work, and raise awareness that can lead to a more integrated society and learn ways to foster a more tolerant society in general
Develop intercultural skills and competences related to international youth projects, reflecting on learning using Youthpass
Be inspired to carry out future international youth projects through the Youth in Action programme and other resource possibilities

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The trainers team consisted of myself from Italy and Henk Perkins form Holand/Slovenia, with the support of the Salto staff and the Danish National Agency staff.

Participants arrived form different EU Member States and form Turkey.

Training methods used & main activities

We used a rich array of non formal education tools.

Outcomes of the activity

Participants had the chance to gain experience on good practices of cross-cultural work.

I worked on this training for six days days as a full time trainer.
