Trolls and Elves in the land of digital youth work

Aims & objectives

The project aims at:
o Exploring various practices of digital youth work answering kaleidoscope of phenomena happening
online,
o Sharing our expertise on the topic of digital media,
o Developing media competences and tools to work with young people,
o Exploring spaces and platforms of digital youth work,
o Familiarizing and developing tools for digital youth work.
It leads to development of digital skills of youth workers, their ability to operate within digital environment and work there, bringing youth work opportunities.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Target: youth workers from: North Macedonia, Estonia, Latvia, Greece, Spain, Poland.

Training methods used & main activities

- presentations,
- group work,
- simulations,
- moderated discussion,
- practical exercises - exploration of tools, preparing presentations.

Outcomes of the activity

Products of both meetings are:
- A base of good examples: tools, approaches, methods of working with young people in digital
sphere,
- A common strategy for introducing/developing digital youth work in our organisations,
- An action plan attached to this strategy,
- A personalised toolbox specific for our partners consortium.
- A set of new youth projects for Erasmus+ and ESC to work on digital youth work.
