Aims & objectives

In the framework of "EPIC" as the long term Social and Economical Development Project in South Caucasus special focus on youth and women:
-establishing dialogue between young people coming from different cultures and vulnerable groups
-training national coaches to become active trainers in youth participation projects
-activating youth NGOs (implementing partners) in youth focused initiatives
-youth participation, social inclusion, co-management systems, cross-sectoral cooperation targeting IDP youth and vulnerable local population
-further consultations on the capacity building of NGOs (implementing partners) on youth participation

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

-youth coaches and trainers from South Caucasus countries
-young active people willing to further get specialized on youth participation and empowerment in their own initiatives
-trainers team was composed of 3 young people from GE, AM, AZ

Training methods used & main activities

-interactive workshops
-intercultural games
-discussions and tried out practices
-simulations
-role playing
-open space
-group work
-individual consultations

Outcomes of the activity

-group of 24 motivated and enthusiastic young coaches ready to lead the workshops taking 6 months cycles on the vulnerable youth of IDP and local populations in South Caucasus
-action plan for future projects organised in cooperation within GIZ
-exchange of knowledge and further cooperation among the coaches

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

-senior trainer and international expert on youth participation & empowerment
-preparing the YOUTH PARTICIPATION concept and program followig the comprehensive programme review and needs analysis
-composing the team and preparing the programme
-full time trainer and facilitator during the training
-cooperation and follow-up after the training through consultations on the capacity building of NGOs (implementing partners) on youth participation

I worked on this training for 5 days as a full time trainer.
