Training of multipliers in democratic youth participation

The training activity took place
in Rabat Sale, Morocco
organised by CoE & LAS
April 2013

Aims & objectives

The training aimed to give the necessary skills and competencies to youth workers and activists to become multipliers in democratic youth participation in their organizations and their communities.
It was also aiming to create a network of multipliers in DYP in the North Africa Region.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The group was composed of participants from Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco.
The team was also composed from trainers from the 3 countries.

Training methods used & main activities

The training was based only on non formal education methodologies.

Outcomes of the activity

The participants gained the skills to implement and monitor democratic youth participation in their organizations and communities.
They also acquired facilitation skills so that they can act as multipliers.
The majority of participants also developed local or national projects to follow up this TC.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Full time team member, participated to the design, delivering, reporting and evaluation of the TC.

I worked on this training for 8 days as a full time trainer.
