TOY - Trainers Online for Youth

The main objectives of the project is to: (1) teach youth workers the essentials of social entrepreneurship and the non-formal education methods to share this knowledge; (2) coach unemployed youth on how to create their own social enterprises and the key skills needed for that; (3) generate fresh ideas for social enterprises. At the same time the project intends to promote the concept of social entrepreneurship among the target groups and the general public.
24 participants from: Spain, Turkey, Italy, United Kingdom, Romania, Lithuania
Activities included: (1) group exercises, games, quizzes, simulation activities and interactive workshops (e.g. what matters in a business plan); (2) country presentations on social entrepreneurship; (3) various art-related activities (poster, photo-wall making, etc.); (4) outdoor activities (e.g. paper clip challenge); (5) special video afternoons; (6) public activities (e.g. video shooting in the city centre), and many more.
Firstly, we teached youth workers the essentials of social entrepreneurship and the non-formal education methods to share this knowledge; Secondly, we coached unemployed youth on how to create their own social enterprises and the key skills needed for that; Later, together we generated fresh ideas for social enterprises.
In the end, this project was a great opportunity to develop team working skills, communication and even digital competences.
