Training for trainers "Recognise Improvisations Grounds: UPgraded"

Aims & objectives

Aim was to teach youth workers improvisation and clowning techniques in job with mixed ability groups (persons with different disabilities).

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Target group was youth trainers with and without disabilities (wheelchair users, persons with visual impairment and hearing impairment). There were 40 youth workers and their assistants from 9 countries: Latvia, Portugal, Poland, Turkey, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Spain and Romania.

Non-formal art and improvisation methods.

Outcomes of the activity

Youth worker learned new art and improvisation techniques and later used them in their professional work.

I was in team planning activities and leading some together with other trainers.

I worked on this training for 10 days as a full time trainer.
