Training "Access-Ability Inspectors"

Aims & objectives

It was training courses to build a capacity for the youth NGOs in terms of disability rights, accessibility and inclusion of young people with disabilities into youth work.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Latvia, Turkey, Romania, Slovenia, Netherlands and Spain.

Training methods used & main activities

Art activities were used. Participants prepared art works in small groups. Art works were perceivable for people with different abilities - physical disability, visual impairment etc.

Outcomes of the activity

Participants learned to be more creative, tolerant and how to engage different ability people in one activity trough art.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

My responsibility was to plan, organise and lead activities. I was invited as additional trainer to lead activities for 3 days.

I worked on this training for 3 days as a full time trainer.
