Aims & objectives

- To create and hold a safe learning space for trainers to learn and exchange about their wellbeing practices in their professional context
- To develop a common and holistic understanding of what mental health, wellbeing and self-care mean in a training context and why this trainer Skills Workshop focuses on wellbeing
- To enhance competences in identifying what supports wellbeing of trainers in their professional context
- To reflect on the wellbeing practices participants already have in their professional context and learn new ones from the trainers and the participants
- To gain new practical methods to better take care of well-being in training settings

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

TSWs are targeting trainers who already have a long-term experience with training in the field of youth

Participants from the Austrian, Dutch, Czech, Estonian, German, Irish, Polish, Slovenian and Spanish Erasmus+: Youth in Action National Agencies together with the SALTO Training and Cooperation RC develop and carry out this long-term NA strategic partnership project.

Training methods used & main activities

Non-formal learning methods where used to place the experiences of the participants central within this TSW.

Outcomes of the activity

We archieved to create a safe learning space to go deeper on the topic of wellbeing in a trainerscontext. For every participant this reflective proces was different.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

My role was, together with the two other international trainers, to create a safe learning space and facilitate part of the programme.

I worked on this training for 3 days as a full time trainer.
