“Together we are Stronger” was a Partnership Building Activity (PBA) that aimed to focus on partnership and in the creation of new professional relations between the participants.
The activity was especially addressed to newcomer organizations, but also open to organizations with experience that were interested in knowing new partners.
By exploring the KA1 in different dimensions, methods and resources, this PBA pretended to promote innovation and creativity in the developing of youth activities by exchanging methods, experiences, points of view and ideas.
The objectives for this PBA were:
● to offer a meeting point for newcomers to discuss and to interact between each other;
● to create a solid and trustable network of partners interesting in organizing KA1 projects,
● to improve the quality of future Erasmus + projects.
The final numbers to attend was 23 participants, representing 11 countries: Belgium(Fl), Bulgaria, Poland, Portugal, Cyprus, Spain, Turkey, Ireland, Croatia, Slovak Republic and Finland
Through the principles and practices of non formal education and in an atmosphere where participants can learn from each other, “Together we are Stronger” wanted to open an intercultural dialogue and give space for the acquirement of new skills and the exchange of methods and experiences within the Erasmus + world.
By using non-formal education methods and activities (such as team challenges, brainstorming, reflection spaces, experiential learning, discussion), this PBA allowed participants to experience, reflect and learning about how they can create reliable partnerships together and use Erasmus+ as a tool to support non formal learning within their target group.
Five projects were created during this PBA (five Youth Exchanges and one Training for youth workers): one about using music as a tool of integration, another about nature and outdoor sports, another about social inclusion through youth participation, other about mental health of young people and other about connecting youngsters from rural and urban areas.
I was one of three main trainers in the trainer team, responsible for the development of the training as well as the complete facilitation.
