Aims & objectives

The objectives of our training course fully reflect the priorities of the Council of Europe in the youth sector: Human rights education and intercultural dialogue via teaching young people about human rights, peace and understanding between ethnic cultures. Youth participation and democratic citizenship via teaching young people to take collective actions for protecting their cultural and gender rights, for building solidarity and peace between nations and resolution of still perpetuating ethnic conflicts. The Aims of the training course were to discuss now-days relationship between Armenia, Georgia and Turkey. After stopping of Armenian Turkish protocol procedure the relationship between Armenia and Turkey has been fully stopped. There are also problems between Armenia and Georgia according to problem with churches. That is why we would like to gather young people from these countries and to start intercultural and interreligious dialogue. Our methodology is the IRD Training, which is an Inclusive, Responsive and Dynamic Training Concept. It is based on a combination of training tools that allow inclusion of different abilities, interests and skills; follow closely the learning process and show attention and response to the achievements and difficulties that participants might encounter; and build dynamic interaction by involving creative and positive potential that everybody of us has. Target group was young men and women, youth activists, leaders of youth organization, youth workers between 18-30 years old from Armenia, Georgia and Turkey. Outcomes of the meeting was new ideas for resolving intercultural and economical problems between Armenia, Georgia and turkey by the eyes of youth. I was the trainer of that meeting.

Youth activists from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, The Netherlands, Russia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine between 18-30 years old.
