Aims & objectives

MAIN AIM:
The main aim of this training course is to develop the competences of 24 youth workers from 8 to help them better support their youth to identify and pursue their life purpose.

THE TRAINING OBJECTIVES:
-to increase the knowledge of youth workers on what purpose is, why it is important, and what is its connection to employability
-to develop youth workers' skills to support youth to identify their life purpose and unlock their potential
-to increase awareness on the importance of discovering and following your purpose for personal and professional fulfilment.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

- aged 18 +,
- with an intermediate English level to engage fully in discussions and
activities,
- actively engaged in the field of youth work and currently working with
young people (we welcome career counselors, youth workers, teachers,
trainers, etc. focused on developing the personal and professional
potential of youth),
- able to attend all working days and sessions (sometimes more than
8 hours a day),
- motivated and interested in the topic of the training,
- with a positive attitude and motivation to cooperate in international
teams and learn from and with the participant,
- motivated and willing to implement dissemination activities and share
with others through workshops back home what you learned in the TC.

Training methods used & main activities

Personal/Self-Reflection: Participants engage in individual reflection exercises to explore their personal goals and development areas, often followed by journaling their thoughts​​.

Pair Sharing: Learners pair up to share insights and feedback on specific topics, promoting mutual learning and deeper understanding through dialogue​​.

Group Brainstorming and Facilitated Discussions: Small group activities where participants brainstorm ideas and discuss topics in a facilitated environment, encouraging active participation and collective problem-solving​​.

Workshops and Open Space: Interactive workshops and open space sessions where participants can choose topics of interest and engage in hands-on activities or discussions led by peers or facilitators​​.

Role Plays and Simulations: These activities allow participants to act out scenarios related to the training content, helping them to internalize concepts and practice skills in a safe environment​​.

Youthpass and Key Competences Role Play: Participants create and perform role plays based on the 8 Key Competences of Erasmus+, fostering a practical understanding of these essential skills​​.

Outcomes of the activity

Achievements:
The training achieved several key outcomes:

Skill Development: Enhanced participants' ability to support youth in finding their life purpose.
Knowledge Sharing: Facilitated the exchange of multicultural perspectives on purpose and employability across different European countries.
Practical Experience: Provided participants with hands-on experience in conducting purpose-related training activities.
Indicators of Success:

Participant Feedback: Through both formal and non-formal evaluation methods, including feedback circles and anonymous forms, participants expressed high levels of satisfaction.
Youthpass Certificates: Each participant received a Youthpass, documenting their learning and achievements during the training.
Follow-up Evaluations: Using Kirkpatrick’s Four Level Training Evaluation, follow-up questionnaires at 1 and 3 months post-training indicated retention and application of new skills and knowledge​​.
Publications and Documentation:

A brochure summarizing the project outcomes was disseminated to various organizations via Mailchimp, with tracking to gauge interest and engagement.
Media outreach included contacting print and online media to publish information about the project, increasing visibility and impact​​.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was a one of main trainers and also the co-writer of the project.

I worked on this training for 8 days as a full time trainer.
