TACKLING DISCRIMINATION: THEATRE FOR SOCIAL CHANGE is an international Erasmus + youth exchange project that aims to raise youth’s awareness about non-discriminatory behavior, tolerance and intercultural dialogue, to improve their capacities in fighting discrimination and to promote tolerance and mutual
understanding between young people from different backgrounds using theater and drama methods.
Objectives:
-To increase young people’s knowledge about discrimination, prejudice and stereotypes
-To develop young people’s capacity for exposing and solving social problems using drama methods
-To develop young people’s acting and self-expression competencies to increase their self-empowerment and self-esteem
-To create a social performance to discuss and show the problems of discrimination with the people in local community
- To promote tolerance, non-discrimination, inclusive approaches among young people and their local communities.
4 participants+1 group leader
Italy, Poland, Greece, Ukraine, Georgia and Armenia. In Total 30 participants.
Profile of the participants:
-Young people who have experienced discrimination
-Young people who are interested in theater and have some experience in drama
-Young people that already have some experience in fighting discrimination and intolerance
Non formal education methods: ice breakers, team building, role-play, group discussions, exchange of good practicies.

Being group leader of Polish team, facilitating sessions about Erasmus+ programme and it's opportunities, facilitating session about modern social theatre and its tools.
