Aims & objectives

* Description: Aim - Development of intercultural youth Summer University courses. Objectives: make participant to be aware of project cycle, public relations stratey, fundraising strategy, financial management, risk & conflict management, time management, team building, interdisciplinary learning, intercultural dialogue, language learning, Youth exchanges, European Citizenship.


Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

* Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team: Target group - young leaders, youth workers, AEGEE organization members all over the Europe willing to organize Summer Universities (known AEGEE international project). Intercultural composition of the group – there were 20 people from Greece, Spain, Serbia, Germany, Italy, Russia, Poland, Malta, Hungary, Slovenia. The team of trainers had different international & intercultural composition, - 8 trainers came from following countries: Greece (1), Netherlands (1), Poland (2), Estonia (1), Serbia (1), Turkey (1), Lithuania (me, 1).

Training methods used & main activities

* Training methods used: Training was based on Non-formal education methodology: methods used – small group structured discussions, questionnaire, visualisation, brainstorming, theoretical input, thematic group work, presentations, etc.

Outcomes of the activity

* Outcomes of the activity: Improved skills and knowledge for successful Summer Universities organizing; developed methodologies for trainings & for Summer Universities;

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

* Tasks and responsibilities: The tasks and responsibilities were shared with other colleague trainers. I was developing methods, implementing them in action and leading several sessions.

I worked on this training for 7 days as a full time trainer.
