Aim: to provide the Alliance increased opportunities and approved competences to include more young people in IVS with the aim to provide increased opportunities for personal development, intercultural exchange and community development.
Objectives:
- to increase the capacities of our members' youth workers in recruitment/marketing/visibility for them to apply in their organisation's activities;
- to increase the knowledge of our members' youth workers about the young persons' learning outcomes from international volunteering - related to their personal and professional development as well as civic participation - and promote these among potential young volunteers;
- to increase expertise in setting up partnerships with other organisations (such as universities, schools...) that can be beneficial to involve more young people in our projects.

Outcome of the study session is a group of 21 trained youth workers in the field of IVS with improved competences to include more young people in IVS activities. The participants of the study session also worked on creation of a manual with tips, tricks and best practices for any IVS organisation to include more young people in IVS activities.
