"Step Forward" was a mobility project addressed to 39 young people from 11 countries (Greece, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Latvia, Egypt, Finland, Algeria,Georgia, Roumania, Bulgaria and Italy). Participants were youth workers, youth leaders, educators, facilitators , mentors and young people, who have the power to utilize their gained knowledge and skills in their local community and act as ambassadors of the Erasmus+ program.
Both training course and the follow up meeting were based on non-formal education methods. Different tools of NFE methodology such as: visual presentations, group work, group discussions, brainstorming, theatre games , role playing, study visits, case studies, group debates, simulation activities served the educational process.
Among the results are the 11 local activities and 4 groups of teams who set out future projects for Key Action 1 - Youth Mobility under Erasmus + programme. As well I have developed and tested an educational tool from the project- https://www.salto-youth.net/tools/toolbox/dashboard/edit/2327/.
In addition we have reached the following - Evaluate personal progress of the participants with their involvement throughout the program.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the workshops, and the methods and tools used.
- Obtain space and time to organize new actions based on European strategy 2020.
- Create conditions for networking, and long-lasting and qualitative partnerships.
Overall there were 3 trainers who implemented the programme. I was main trainer and supervisor during the 1st training course, and as well guide the process of the participants in implementing local activities for the 2nd follow up meeting.
