Stand Up Against Discrimination- Youth Exchange

Aims & objectives

Main aim of this project is promoting equality and non-discrimination between young people.
Project through several workshops intends to bring and spread different methods of non-formal learning for non-discrimination work with young people in order to strengthen their daily work, raise awareness of rights, empowering them to recognize and stand up against discrimination and address the relevant institutions to seek legal or other appropriate remedies.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Participants were young people from Spain, Poland, Italy, Greece, Denmark, Serbia and Bulgaria.

Training methods used & main activities

Methods that were used are: the use od film in education, theatre, other non-formal methods based on intercultural learning , group and individual work.

Outcomes of the activity

At the end of the activity, participants performed the street performance that they had created during workshops, in Allerod. Participants continued working on the topic of discrimination within their communities.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was in charge of designing and implementing the workshops, together with my co-trainer.

I worked on this training for 7 days as a full time trainer.
