The training activity took place

Aims & objectives

Aims were to share the method of self-development (practiced on international level within the informal Synergy network) called also Spectrum with 14 organizations from 11 countries. The content was based on coaching methods addressing the needs of youth workers to guide their teams, to facilitate sharings and briefings during events in bigger groups and to create a learning environment for their NGOs.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The target group were youth workers willing to work on their self-development within coaching farmework. There were 45 people from Lithuania,Hungary, Czech Rep., Romania, Croatia,Bulgaria,Greece, Netherlands, Serbia, Macedonia, Spain and Ukraine.

Training methods used & main activities

Work in teams of 10 guided by 2 trainers, coaching sessions, drama,constellations, body movement,reflection, open sharing, group cooperation, outdoor and music.

Outcomes of the activity

Participants learned the basics and further of coaching and how to use it on personal and group level, they practiced group dynamics and how to support their own well-being and productivity through self-coaching. They also got inspiration and networking background during parts of this TC as well, so that it resulted into 14 organizations from 11 countries applying for 56 projects all around Europe, 24 of those projects got approved.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

My task was to deliver program together with my colleague to part of the group, exactly for 10 people from different countries, during the whole week. I was also guiding reflections, setting demonstration or coaching one on one.

I worked on this training for 7 days as a full time trainer.
