Aims & objectives

Providing training sessions to undergraduate entrepreneurs on Social Entrepreneurship and soft skills to enhance their capacities to establish a startup.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

These training sessions were at The Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport which is one of the specialized organizations of the League of Arab States ( regional educational organization)
Team members are professors, Teacher Assistants, and business consultants from Egypt, the USA, and different Arab Countries.

The target group comprises undergraduate students from 59 Arab, African, Asian, and European countries.

Training methods used & main activities

Simulation Models, Gamification, role plays, group discussions, and case studies.

Outcomes of the activity

For each cycle, 10+ undergraduate students started their startups to solve a social problem in their communities, pitched to investors from different nationalities, and secured funds.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

My tasks were to design training sessions and deliver them each semester within incubation programs, forums, and student empowerment programs.

Sessions covered:

1- Introduction to social entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurial Mindset, Ideation, Problem-solving Tools, Business Model Canvas (BMC), and Pitching skills.
2- Time management skills, Presentation
skills, Communication skills, Leadership skills, Team building skills, Negotiation skills, Problem solving
skills, Emotional Intelligence, Networking and
self-branding skills.

I worked on this training for 36 days as a full time trainer.
