TOY - Trainers Online for Youth
This is a reference for Richard Kotrč
- to create space for youth workers and young trainers to improve their willingness to unfold and learn new skills of communication, leadership and other skills
- to challenge them and enable them to apply new tools and methods to share this knowledge with the target group they work with
The program was organized by Recreativity, a social entreprise from Budapest which is providing non-formal educational programs using the method of creative upcycling so that people can build creative solutions in their everyday life and in the meantime acquire environmental awareness. The program of the mobility is designed and conducted by a multicultural team of experienced trainers and assistants. Participants were youth workers, trainers and members of NGOs from Sweden, Italy, Spain, Poland, Romania, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
The main methods were learning by doing, mindfulness, embodiment, creative recycling ,communication and facilitation practices, living library, etc. For example, participants were using expressive methods of painting to show who they are or facilitated their own workshops.
Participants acquired new skills needed in youth work, especially facilitation skills. They used these skills in creating their own workshops after the training course.
Junior Trainer - facilitation of workshops, team meetings and daily evaluation groups.
