TOY - Trainers Online for Youth
This is a reference for Lea Kovic
Aim of the training course was to raise the quality of rural youth work. With the "RuralPower" project, they want to respond to the needs of youth centers and youth workers from rural areas of Slovenia, Estonia and Romania, where youth work exists, but, according to experience and observations, is unstructured and poorly organized. Informal youth leaders do their best to encourage young people to participate actively in the community, but it often turns out that they lack the competencies and skills to support young people well. In addition to the lack of competencies, young workers lack knowledge and experience in the field of international opportunities, Erasmus + and non-formal learning. The training in Idrija is attended by 18 youth workers.
Participants of this TC were youth workers from rural areas in Slovenia, Estonia and Romania. I was the only trainer of the activity besides the input of the organisers.
