“R.I.S.E. – Intercultural Competence Training” training course included 36 youth workers (+18) from 6 different countries: Greece, Spain, Lithuania, Serbia, North Macedonia, and Germany.
R.I.S.E. – Intercultural Competence Training
is a training course that is based on one of the ETS
trainers competence model. Mainly – but not
exclusively – referring to the intercultural competence:
model. Participants explored intercultural competence in the context of local, national, and international youth work. Trainers shared their knowledge and
tips to work with intercultural youth groups.
Participants shared the reports of their workshops that they created during the training course and that they implemented in their local communities after the project. R.I.S.E. standed for Reflection (R), Intercultural teams (I), Self-Awareness (S), Expression (E), and each letter has been achieved by the conducted sessions and the variety of participant profiles. Multicultural learning environment was achieved by the participation from various countries and creation of intercultural teams which prepared activity sessions.
