Aims & objectives

With the main aim of Improving the INTEGRAtion of Immigrant Youth through Collaboration and Training, the training course provided a comprehensive overview of project management in youth sector. By exploring complex topics within project management, participants developed advanced skills and analytical techniques relevant to both the theory and practice of the field. This approach met the growing demand from partner organizations seeking to upskill their members with expertise in project management.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Participants: 18 youth workers, young people, and NGOs staff.

Training methods used & main activities

The training utilized a non-formal learning method that focused on experiential and participatory approaches, emphasizing hands-on activities, group discussions, and real-world simulations. This method encouraged active engagement, collaboration, and reflection among participants, allowing them to learn through experience and peer interaction rather than traditional lecture-based instruction. By fostering a dynamic and interactive learning environment, the training aimed to develop practical skills and critical thinking, enabling participants to apply their knowledge directly to real-life project management scenarios.

Outcomes of the activity

The outcomes included the development of advanced skills and analytical techniques relevant to both theoretical and practical aspects of project management. Participants gained knowledge in exploring project opportunities, planning, implementing, and monitoring projects, managing project finances, understanding the project life cycle, and handling team dynamics and conflicts. They also learned about the Erasmus+ program and its application process. Additionally, each project partner had specific outcomes: in managing Erasmus+ projects and funding, in enhancing project management skills among its staff and youth workers, and in expanding their knowledge of youth immigrant inclusion measures and strengthening network sfor future projects.
