Aims & objectives

Project Labs are national activities that focus on both introduction and/or quality aspects in the European Solidarity Corps (ESC). In 2021,

The Project Lab Intro will be delivered through a synchronous digital meeting not longer than 4 hours (including breaks).

The starting objectives of the Project Lab Intro are as following:
• get a first contact with the info about volunteering and solidarity projects;
• get motivated to apply for a QL (would interviews/inviting organizations/presentation of RAY results help?);
• shortly present the process of getting a project approved (QL, budget application, aspects that you think about when you have to send/host a volunteer, do a solidarity projects);
• present ESC projects as a method and strategy for working with topics as inclusion, youth participation, LGBTQ activism etc;
• create a bridge between the NA and the organizations - should feel welcomed and relax to contact MUCF;
• get materials from the trainers - an infopack for the specific target group (must be clarified what the infopack should contain, ex tools that would help those participating to inspire their other colleagues);
• how would they do internally so that the organizations decides to get involved in a project
• slightly adapt the respective ProjectLabs to the respective target groups that will be reached (LGBTQ, disabilities, NEET, youth participation)

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The trainers selected to design the Project Labs: Marta Brzezinska-Hubert and Konstantinos Stergiou met with the National Agency. The aim was that Marta and Konstantinos would design the Project Labs for both digital (and residential - if possible) implementation. The trainers selected to deliver the Project Labs: Karin Wouda, Kristina Rosenhagen and Fredrik Wouda were invited to get involved in this process by giving feedback to the proposed designs.
