A diverse range of non-formal learning methods was used throughout the training course. We encouraged many different ways of learning in order to reach and satisfy the individual learning needs of the participants. For example, interactive activities to support the group to get to know each other, outdoor activities to develop group building and to create challenges, simulation exercise to help the participants to experience the feeling of empowerment, creative art to support reflection and the inclusion of a reflective walk in the surrounding nature. Discussion and work groups were encouraged in order to share experience, debrief and reflect on activities. We created space for individual work but also many various ways of group work, in pairs, small groups, and plenary sessions.
We have written an evaluation report of this training with various outcomes (which can be sent on request) - participants were satisfied with the programme, e.g. participants gave the TC programme an average score of 8,5 (on a scale 1-10).
I was one of three main trainers in the trainer team, responsible for the development of the training as well as the complete facilitation.
