Personal Branding 4 EUth employment

organised by The Organization of Babes-Bolyai University Students – OSUBB

Aims & objectives

To help 20 youth to create their personal and unique profile for getting a job
To make possible the development of social, communicative and technical abilities in finding a job
To reflect and discuss differences of national and European employability situations
To help youth to get to know their strengths and to explore strategies to create their own personal brand
Have fun in a non-formal environment

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The team of the project and the group of participants were made mainly of Spanish and Romanian people, between whom some were Hungarian or from Moldova Republic.
The target group was mas of:
Youngsters between 18-25 years
Students in the last year of studies or graduates
Looking for a job
Motivated and interested in developing their employability skill

Training methods used & main activities

The training was based on non-formal methods.
Group works, group reflection, peer learning, presentations, career coaching, swot analysis, debates, open space, work place visits, interview simulation, energizers, brainstorming, networking,intercultural night, treasure hunting and city visits.

Outcomes of the activity

- employability skills development
-cultural awareness development
-intercultual communication development
-creativity development
- empowerment for participants to create their own projects
-increased self-confidence
-increasing the rate of employment for the participants for the next 3 months

- coordinating the program of activities
-coordinating the team of the project
-main trainer for facilitating the activities from the program during 8 days

I worked on this training for 9 days as a full time trainer.
