in Prague and Baldovec, The Czech Republic
organised by ISCA (International Sport and Culture Association)

Aims & objectives

• To contribute to developing the quality of support systems for youth activities and the capabilities of civil society organizations in the youth field.
• To promote European cooperation in the youth field.
• To build partnerships among youth from European sport organizations.
• To offer a platform to create new projects on international level.
• To maximize the potential of youth networking as a means of achieving Youth in Action Programme goals and objectives

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

30 young people in involved in voluntary work in local, regional or national NGOs and Sport for All organizations.
Team of 4 trainers: Luiza Czajkowska, Poland; Auður Kjartansdóttirovic, Iceland; Jirka Panek, Czech Republic; Sorin Buruiana, Romania.

Training methods used & main activities

Activities and methods applied included: networking, development of an action plan (Take Action Pack), expert presentations, participant-led workshops, networking sessions and a session employing Open Space Technology.

Outcomes of the activity

Improved knowledge on Youth in Action Programme; participation and involving young people with fewer opportunities through sport activities; networking between organisations; 4 international projects realised in participants countries;

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Full-time, senior trainer, responsible for consulting, preparing, implementing and evaluating most of the sessions (i.e. get to know each other through myth hunting in Prague; inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities through sport; leading Open Space Technology; Learning Space Dynamics on Youth in Action Programme;).

I worked on this training for 6 days as a full time trainer.
